In the fall of 2017, my best friend Shea and I toyed with the idea of creating and hosting a two-woman show. But lack of a venue (and the fear of an audience the same size as the cast) turned our interest from live show to a podcast, developed over almost nine months before becoming a reality.
Now, we have Everything We Know So Far, a 10-episode scripted podcast hosted by Ellen Gerst (me) and Shea Rulon. Thanks to the good people over at Boston College's (literally) underground virtual reality lab, we got to use state-of-the-art recording and mixing equipment over the course of about eight weeks in the summer of 2018.
My dear friend Josh Artman acted as our producer and sometimes writer, while I wrote most episodes and am in the process of editing them all. The podcast was infinitely improved by the appearance of nine stellar guest hosts, a hilarious selection of New England Classic writers. And of course, it just wouldn't work without Shea sharing the mic with me.
Everything We Know So Far is now available for listening on iTunes, Google Play, and Soundcloud.
